Multi-point Dressers

The arrangement of diamonds depends on the diameter and width of the grinding stones. Still, since three or five diamonds are embedded in two or three rows, a multi-point dresser can be used to dress continuously and evenly until the embedded diamonds are completely used up, eliminating the need for maintenance during the product’s service life.
In addition, the size of the diamond used in the dresser depends on the diameter and width of the wheel, so a larger size wheel requires a larger diamond. Since dressers with large diamonds are expensive, the multi-point dresser features several diamonds hitting the wheel at the same time, which means that smaller diamonds can be used for sharpening and dressing operations on different grits, and the price can be kept low.
